About the RPI Scoops for BMW

 

The BMW E60 530i RPI ram induction for the 535i allows more ambient airflow to reach the stock air box. The stock airbox is a great foundation for intake modification because it allows the N54 engine to breath cool air from the outside unlike aftermarket induction systems. Other aftermarket intake systems rely on questionable testing methods (hood open) and suffer from heat soak which causes the BMW DME to pull ignition timing. Expect a 5-7hp gain with ram induction and a 6-10whp with the ram induction kit (including filter).

 

 

About the BMW Performance Air Filter for BMW(Optional)

 

BMC air filters are designed and produced to ensure a higher air flow than original paper filters. In F1, for example, BMC cotton filters minimize the loss of air flow pressure passing through the air filter; this way ensures the best conditions for full exploitation of maximum power. Therefore the benefits of replacing the original paper filter with BMC cotton air filter, produced using the same technology and materials as the F1 air filters, are evident.
